•INGREDIENTS:
150 g (5 oz) dates
80 g (2.8 oz) rolled oats
90 g (3 oz) walnuts
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 pinch of salt (optional)
Zest of 1 orange
150 milligrammes (5 fluid ounces) due dates
Eighty grams (2.8 ounces) or more Whole rolled oats (90g, or 3 oz) walnuts
1/100 teaspoon of cinnamon
1 pinch of salt, if desired
Juice from one orange
100 milligrams (3.5 ounces) Zero-sugar chocolate
a tablespoon of extracurricular olive oil.
•INSTRUCTIONS:
First, get the dates ready by soaking them in water for 15 minutes. After that, take out the pits.
To get the oats ready, grind the rolled oats until they are finely ground.
Roughly chop the walnuts, reserving a small handful for garnishing.
Combine ground walnuts, cinnamon, salt, orange zest, and dates into a paste. Add ground oats and blend until combined.
Shape into Balls: After mixing, roll into tiny balls and set aside to chill for 15 minutes.
Dip the balls into the melted chocolate mixture, then top with walnuts to make the chocolate coating. Melt the chocolate with olive oil.
Chill for a further fifteen minutes before serving in paper molds. Refrigerate once more.
