Mozzarella Cheesesteak Stromboli

Ingredients:
1 can (13.4 oz) Pillsbury classic pizza dough, refrigerated
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
1 1/2 lb grilled sirloin steak, roughly chopped
Olive oil
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
1 medium green bell pepper, thinly sliced
1 1/2 tsp dried Italian seasoning, divided
1 tsp garlic salt
Black pepper to taste
1/3 cup prepared Parmesan-Peppercorn salad dressing
1 tbsp butter, melted
2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
Sauté the Vegetables: Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a skillet. Add the onions and bell pepper, seasoning with 1 tsp of Italian seasoning, garlic salt, and black pepper. Cook for 3-5 minutes until soft and aromatic.
Prepare the Dough: Roll out the pizza dough on a flat, clean surface, shaping it into a 12 x 16-inch rectangle. Sprinkle half of the shredded mozzarella evenly across the dough.
Assemble the Stromboli: Spread the chopped sirloin steak on top of the cheese. Add the sautéed veggies on top of the steak, then drizzle with Parmesan-Peppercorn dressing. Finish with the remaining mozzarella.
Roll and Seal: Carefully roll up the dough, starting from the long side, and place it seam-side down on your prepared baking sheet.
Topping Time: Brush the top with melted butter, then sprinkle the remaining Italian seasoning, garlic salt, and grated Parmesan cheese for extra flavor.
Bake and Rest: Bake in the oven for 18-20 minutes until golden brown. Let the stromboli rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
